This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit https://getprofitcalc.com or use our paid SaaS platform. Please read this policy carefully. All calculator inputs you enter (costs, prices, percentages) are processed entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your calculator data to our servers.

If you create an account to use our paid SaaS platform, we collect:

• Email address and name (provided during registration)
• Store connection credentials (Shopify, WooCommerce, or Etsy OAuth tokens — stored encrypted)
• Order and sales data synced from your connected store(s)
• COGS, ad spend, and other financial inputs you manually enter
• Billing information (handled entirely by Paddle — see section 5; we never see your full card number)

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs. This information is used for analytics purposes via Google Analytics.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on our site. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the site may not function properly.

6. Payment Processing — Paddle

All subscription payments for the GetProfitCalc SaaS platform are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Paddle collects and processes your payment information (name, email address, billing address, and payment card details) directly. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Paddle may share your name and email address with us for the purpose of fulfilling your subscription and providing customer support. Paddle is responsible for its own data processing in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Vercel (hosting), and Paddle (payment processing). These services may collect information about you in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies.

8. Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our servers beyond what is required to operate your account. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, giving you time to export any reports. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained in accordance with Google's data retention policies (typically 14 months by default). Your cookie consent preference is stored in your browser's localStorage until you clear it.

9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access personal data we hold about you
• The right to request correction of inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to object to processing
